Malachy texts Luke "The horror, fucksake the horror!" which is a send-up to Marlon Brandon's famous line. Malachy spraypaints the famous "Letter home" quote from the movie on the garage doors outside Michelle's house. One of the texts in the sequence leading to the ending reads "You surf or you fight!" Also he paints "Terminate with extreme prejudice" inside the leisureplex.
