Right after the T-800 fires a grenade at the T-1000, it falls into a pit of molten steel where it morphs into several people who the T-1000 kills and encounters; the face of the T-1000 forms in the molten steel and dissolves - the death scene is a cyborg version of the Wicked Witch of the West.
