Gimli's comment about having the "eyes of a hawk" before being captured by Galadriel's bodyguards almost identical to a scene with Eli Wallach and Clint Eastwood in this film. The initial shot is even similar, with bayonets/arrows popping into frame unnoticed by the characters.
