During the scene in when Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson visit the OPS, after listening to Percy and Annabeth talk excitedly, Hermes (Nathan Fillion) smiles and comments how he likes the way the two of them finish each other's sentences. This is a reference to Castle in which characters Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion ) and Kate Beckett are often finishing each other's sentences when working together. Many other regular characters and guest characters in the show have commented about them finishing each other's sentences throughout the show's run.
