The sign that McClane is forced to wear in Harlem was filmed as the more innocuous "I hate every body" and then digitally altered in post production to replace "every body" with a racial epithet for the uncut release.However, as McClane leaves the police truck, the original sign can still briefly be seen. It very obviously has four lines of text instead of three lines moments later.
