One key issue with all "Purge" movies is this: The Purge starts at 7pm March 21 and ends at 7am March 22 every year. In almost all scenes shot during those times, it's broad daylight or close to it. Nowhere in the continental United States is it going to be that light out at either time of day on those dates.
