When Captain Street and James Lee Wong are questioning Win Lee; she mentions that Fraser said the phone call was in Chinese. This information eventually led to the capture of the conspirators and solved the case. However, this scenario makes no sense since the dialog stated the wrong information therefore the case should have not been solved based on it. What really happened in the film was that Fraser said it sounded like a Chinese female, not the call was in Chinese. Additionally; he thought it was Win Lee. Evident of this is that during the phone call, you only heard Frasier, and he spoke English the whole time implying that the person on the other end was also speaking English. The only time you heard from the Chinese female was when she said, The Green Dragon, which happens to be in the English language. Additionally, Fraser is one of the conspirators, therefore, it is not in his interest, to tell the truth, and Lee is one of the good guys therefore it is not in her interest to tell a lie. Therefore in reality they could not have solved the case with the aforementioned incorrect information.
