(at around 2h) The Joker claims he rigged the ferries with diesel fuel and ammonium nitrate and although diesel fuel normally only combusts under pressure and not with the addition of heat, ammonium nitrate/fuel oil (AN/FO) is a widely used explosive, even with diesel fuel.
