As Nedry prepares to put his nefarious computer-sabotage plan into action, he left-clicks on the computer's mouse; we then see the cursor being moved diagonally down the screen to the huge red "EXECUTE?" icon. Nedry would not have to press or hold down the mouse-button just to move the cursor around on the screen to select one of the links on the page; he would just nudge the mouse around on the table a little to "navigate" to the icon that he wants to select.
