When Louis catches Thaddeus again after he has tried to escape, Louis points out that Thaddeus broke into a man's house, constituting breaking and entering, and hit that man in the head, constituting assault. It is possible, though unlikely, that Louis would have known about the first offense, but how did he know about Thaddeus throwing the object at the man who owned the house he broke into, since it happened behind closed doors?
