In the final climax between Stegman and Mr. Norris, Mr. Norris punches Stegman through the school glass roof and he falls down, ending up hanging himself. In the shot where everyone screams after they see his body, from a distance away, it's clear that it's a dummy of Stegman that is hanging from the roof.
