Morbius tells the lab owner, after having fractured his phalanges and other parts of his hand, to take ibuprofen and his hand "will heal just fine". Most physicians agree that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs will delay the healing of broken bones. The man definitely needs a cast, if not surgery, on his hand.
