When Irina meets Bella at the wedding, Irina says she does not believe Laurent was going to hurt Bella. Though Bella was the only witness to the event who wasn't involved in Laurent's subsequent demise, and is typically one to speak her mind, she bizarrely says nothing in response, letting Irina walk off with her misconceptions unchallenged.
