(about 20 mins into the movie) After the attack, when Ellie wakes up and goes downstairs, She checks the front door lock & the chain door fastener to make sure they're fastened. When she goes through the kitchen and is startled by her boyfriend, Bo, he's in the house just using a key. (How did he get past the chain door fastener?)
