When Mulder finds the snowplow truck on the side of the road, and looks inside for the tire iron, the snowplow's roof lights are on. When Mulder walks away from the snowplow in the next shot, the roof lights are off.
When Mulder comes across Dacyshyn's abandoned truck, it appears as though the roof lights go from off to on to off again; however, while difficult to tell, the shots at the beginning and end of the scene, in which Mulder is shown approaching and walking away from the truck from a distance, are from behind the truck, so the lights wouldn't necessarily be visible, as they're pointed toward the front of the truck. The initial, close-up shot of him walking away is shown from the front of the truck, hence why the lights can be seen.
