The movie is set in 1984, and Rini's household items included a refrigerator. At that time Indonesia's GDP per capita is around 525 USD. So it is very unlikely for a low income family that is living in small one bedroom flat such as Rini's would be able to buy typical one door refrigerator which at that time would cost more than their yearly earnings.
