On the flight back to the US, Devereaux rips off the the cover of the notebook that Juanita gave him. He discovers the filmstrips being pasted inside. Back in the US, when talking to Nordstrom, he remarks they could make great use of the photos "once the film is developed". He should have known better, as the film was already developed and otherwise would have been spoilt on exposure to light.
