(at around 1h 55 mins) The kid with Dawes was supposed to have inhaled the fumes and must be scared of everyone. Not only is he not scared of Rachel (maybe because she was with him?), he is not scared of Batman, too. This may be because his admiration of Batman overcame the fear instinct.
