When Ellie leaves the motel office in hand with a bottle of Coca-Cola her car is still parked in front of the motel room assigned to them by Rafferty, interestingly with a cat crawling out from under the vehicle at the same time. However, when Ellie draws closer to the room and Marge Guttman accidentally honks her car horn and startles her the red car is no longer present on the premises. Also, since Marge's room is closer to the office than Ellie and Challis', both vehicles should've also been visible when Ellie was walking back. Lastly, the Kupfers' RV is nowhere to be found although they parked out front as well.
