When Marty first arrives in 1885 and meets up with Doc, Doc admonishes him saying he gave him explicit instructions not to come back for him. This is 1985 (older) Doc, Marty came to 1885 with the help of 1955 (younger) Doc. Therefore 1985 Doc would be well aware that Marty was coming as well as known where and when Marty would arrive and should not have acted surprised or upset.
