In the daytime, Sandy and Lauren discover Michael's hideout, and go in to see him. CIA Atkins and sidekick come in after them and shoot Michael. Sandy and Lauren hit them with paddles and knock them out. In the next scene, it is nighttime, and Lauren and Sandy are with Michael on the beach by the the boathouse where the CIA agents were knocked out. Magically, they are no longer there, because they (or at least Mr. Atkins) are in the helicopter that is hunting for Michael and the girls.
