At the end of the pre-credits sequence, just after Bond is "assassinated", there are bullet holes visible through the bottom of the bed. The bed is dropped back down and Bond is "dead." In the padded section behind where Bond would have been when the bed was upright, there are several bullet holes visible. Presuming Bond was shot with blanks, these would not have left any bullet holes nor would there be any bullet holes in the bottom of the bed. Therefore, these are probably emplaced squibs to simulate bullet holes.
