The black-painted P-51s are stand-ins for Me-109s and have balkenkruezes (straight-arm crosses) painted on the fuselages and wings and swastikas on the tail fins. However, the balkenkruezes are too narrow and the swastikas are too large. Plus, there are no unit identification markings (arrows, letters, numbers, etc.) on the fuselages, nor are the airplanes painted in camouflage colors.
