When Ben goes in the trunk to get the jack, that is not the kind of jack a car would have. They would have a scissor style jack. The kind he pulls out would be more commonly used in supporting an item while working on it or used in lifting a heavy object, like a slab of concrete. Which makes sense why it was shown. But it's not something in a car.
