Detective Burke hands one of the young people his business card and tells him that he can pick up his car at the impound lot "in the morning". A vehicle that was found wrecked and believed to be associated with an aggravated assault would more than likely be held for evidence processing, which could take several days. In some cases, the vehicle could be held until the case is adjudicated.
