The copy of "David Copperfield" that Montag reads at home by the light of the TV screen appears to be about 200 to 300 pages in length. "David Copperfield" is over 1000 pages. When he reads to Linda's friends at her party he is also reading from the same novel, only the volume he's holding is even smaller than the first one.
