When Doc and Marty are tailing Bif in his 1946 Ford, Marty gets out of the Delorean and onto his hoverboard. As Marty is sneaking toward Bif's car, he grabs on to the wheel of the Delorean. The wheel is no longer attached to the Delorean through a automobile suspension. The wheel is welded to the Delorean with two beams. The Delorean suspension no longer exists.
