At the beginning of the film, Deadpool jumps off a building. If the action is slowed down, you will see that he jumps up, then starts to fall straight down, under the (natural) influence of gravity. You can see this relative to the ledge of the building as well as the bird flying past. However, immediately after, there is a cut to him moving both horizontally and vertically. None of Deadpool's powers include the ability to fly, so he should have just vertically--straight down.
