The T-1000 is liquid metal, and therefore has no need to breathe oxygen or exhale carbon dioxide, but its breath is clearly visible in the cold night air. However in first movie, Kyle Reese tells Sarah that the new terminators (T-101's) have "sweat, bad breath, everything." Since the T-1000 is a newer model to that of the T-101, it is plausible to say that it has "bad breath" too.
