Ryan flies from LHR to IAD at night. When he arrives at Dulles, it's daylight. This is backwards. For most of the year, there is a 5 hour time difference. If Ryan left, as an example, at 2100 London time, that is 1600 in Virginia. Add 6 hours flight time, Ryan lands at 2200 (10pm). He wouldn't be whisked in daylight to a morning meeting at that time.
