In the film Turing is shown single-handedly inventing and physically building the machine, which was simply untrue. The bombe was built with mathematical ideas from Alan Turing, but the machine was physically implemented by expert electronic and mechanical engineers. However, the Polish bomba was not influential in how the British designed bombe operated.
