When Dr. Loomis explains the word Samhain on the chalkboard he pronounces it as Sam-Hain. It is actually pronounced as Sow-when. Also it is a Gaelic festival for the end of autumn and beginning of winter, Dr. Loomis says it is Celtic Lord of the Dead meaning end of Summer which is wrong.
