After the police rescue Sarah at the motel, Endercott tells her that he can take her home. However, they are in New Orleans and Sarah lives in Kansas City. Given that the police have undoubtedly already established that Sarah was kidnapped from her home in Kansas City, Endercott would not offer to take her home but would offer to take her to an airport, bus station or train station.
