After stealing the car in an effort to escape they encounter some traffic light controlled road works. Whilst attempting to avoid an oncoming truck they swerve the car but clip the rear wheel on the bucket of the heavy equipment. The rear wheel is considerably damaged as is the adjacent bodywork, which is all perfect again throughout the remainder of the movie.
