The series often features Mavis' Aunt Lydia, Cousin Klaus and Uncle Gene. Yet in Hotel Transylvania 2, when Mavis' mother-in-law asks if she has any cousins, Mavis states that she doesn't have any and it's only ever been herself and her father. Since the series was created AFTER Hotel Transylvania 2, this seems like a huge error on the part of the creators, who would have known that she had no other relatives (apart from her estranged grandfather, Vlad).
