When reciting Reacher's bio to the DA, Emerson states that Reacher had served all over the world, but had never been in the U.S. until leaving the Army. This is clearly contradicted by the history given in Lee Child's books, but it is a particularly glaring error because the next movie made in the series is "Never Go Back." The plot of that book and movie relies heavily on Reacher's prior service as an MP stationed in Washington, D.C.
