When Woody and Jessie escape from the plane, they open the access hatch to the wheel well. If the access hatch was opened at any time during the flight, it would set off alarms in the cockpit. In this case happening while the plane is taxiing down the runway. The pilot would immediately declare an emergency and stop the plane.
