When Marty asks for the Grays Sports Almanac, alternate 1985 Biff shows it to him. After putting it back in the safe, he mentions that his old self told him to keep it a secret. If he was told to keep it a secret, then why did he show it to Marty? He was about to kill Marty, so it didn't matter if he knew or not. However, this seems to be the standard trope of Villain Monologuing, bragging about his secrets because he knows his foe is about to die. Also it seems likely Biff was cooperating in order to lull Marty into a sense of security in an attempt to get the drop on him.
