When Lerigot teleports from Muranthias to Earth, it is daytime in Angel Grove (the city where the Rangers live) and Lerigot's teleportation streak is seen heading for South America. That night, after Rocky has been sent to the hospital, Lerigot is teleporting to the Earth for a second time and he lands in Africa.
