How did Phoenix know of Maverick's 2 Mig-57 kills? The radio was out at the time of the shoot downs, and neither Maverick or Rooster told anybody of them when the 2 landed back on the carrier.The Overwatch tracking system, which detected Maverick and Rooster's F14, would have tracked the battle with the 2 migs. This system was also (presumably) how the final enemy plane was detected and why Hangman was subsequently sent to help them.
