At the end of the film, Rick learns that Susan murdered her sister. But Susan is a curly-haired brunette and in the murder scene, the murderer's straight blond hair dips into the shot a few times. And since there were no witnesses, there would have been no need for Susan to wear a wig in order to conceal her identity.
