At 40 min into the movie, we can see that they're traveling from Russia through Poland towards Germany on their way to Paris, France. Seconds later we'll see a sign that says "Strasburg 30km", France, which would mean that they're already in southwest Germany at that point. But a few minutes after, they are boarding a ship in Stralsund, which is in north Germany, close to the border to Poland.
