There is no proof that Udham Singh ever used the name Ram Mohamed Singh Azad. Udham Singh used the name of Mohamed Singh Azad as one of his signatures on a letter to his friend Baba Bishan Singh of California.However, the opening credits of the movie do state that the makers took "creative liberties" and dramatised the events for "cinematic expression", so some divergence from pure accuracy is to be expected.
