The second victim presupposes he would be eaten alive by rats and quickly. This is patently false. Rats prefer a meal to be easy, not hard. They would simply wait for him to die before attempting "to eat him alive". The victim could have easily shaken rats off for hours and hours, if not a day or more; especially since his life depended on this. This is clearly a mistake.
