When Fred starts work at the drugstore, the ceiling banners announcing an "end of the month sale" and various sale prices are the same as they were when Fred first went to the store to say hello to Mr. Bullard. As shown in Fred's conversation with Marie about their financial situation, several weeks had passed between the two events, so the store shouldn't have the same sale going on.
