Elizabeth answers with: "35,000 years... maybe older"
There is no currently known method of dating anything that old just by observation in two minutes or less. However, this film is not set "currently", it is set towards the end of the 21st century and methods for dating things may have improved. Furthermore, Elizabeth could have used scientific instruments (such as a carbon probe) she carried with her to date the cave wall paintings, and had finished by the time Holloway got there.
