Joseph Cotten, Erskine Sanford, and Gus Schilling are clearly visible as newsreel reporters in the fifth shot of the projection room sequence (just after the camera pans to the right). All three actors portrayed other characters later in the film. The lighting in this scene was very tricky, and the actors were probably not intended to be identifiable.
