At the end of the film, Buford tells Junior to go arrest the man in the yellow car. Moments later, Buford and Bandit are talking on the CB and a small group of people gather just past Bufords car to watch what is happening. As Buford starts to take off in pursuit of Bandit again, the yellow car, Junior, and the group of people are now gone. In the very next shot from a different angle, the yellow car and people are back, and Junior can once again be seen running after Buford as he is driving away.
