When Barbara Bach emerges out of the USS Wayne, she is wearing a USS Wayne baseball cap with her tucked up under the cap. Previously when she was walking to the escape hatch of the submarine, she wasn't wearing the baseball cap. None of the crew in that area of the submarine where she was were wearing a cap (apart from the captain but that was not a baseball cap) so she couldn't have received the baseball cap from anyone.
