When the USS Wayne is crippled by interference from the submarine eating cargo ship, one of the statements made as power failed was, "losing electrical frequency". The frequency of the electrical power on board a submarine is constant and would not be measured. The phrase was probably chosen by a screenwriter in an attempt to say "power levels dropping" in a more technical manner, but is factually incorrect.
